Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest in Chandler

On Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Brian Huckabee initiated a traffic stop on FM 315 at the intersection of County Road 3105 near Chandler. Tonia Speer was identified as a passenger in the vehicle. A search was conducted and a large amount of crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamines and items of narcotic paraphernalia were found in Speer’s possession. Speer was arrested and charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >= 4 grams 200 grams. Speer was transported to the Henderson County Jail and is awaiting arraignment.

In the state of Texas, Manufacture/ Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 >= 4 Grams 200 Grams is a First Degree Felony, and carries a confinement in jail for a term not to exceed 99 years and a fine not to exceed $10,000. Speer posted a $5,500 bond and was released.
