Burglary Suspects Held At Gunpoint Until Police Arrive

Police BeatOn Sept. 15 at approximately 2:20 p.m., the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a resident on County Road 1408 in the in the Athens area. The caller advised that he had three subjects who were attempting to burglarize his property held at gun point. HCSO Deputies responded to the location and were advised that the complainant witnessed the trio burglarizing a building on the property. The complainant confronted the subjects and was able to detain them until Deputies arrived. After they were about to find police records, the suspects were identified as Brandon Rios, Oland Kellum and Teasha Mcguire. All subjects were arrested and charged with engaging in organized crime and burglary of a building. The subjects were transported to the Henderson County Jail where they remain with bond amounts set as follows: Rios $28,500; Kellurn $28,500; McGuire $4,000.
