Pinnacle Women Recognize More Community Volunteers

Three Volunteer Groups 3It was with great pleasure that the Pinnacle Women’s Club recognized the efforts of the Genesis Center for its compassion and caring for those in need by offering shelter for domestic violence and chemical dependence who are in a one year recovery program. The center helps women and children who live in Henderson County and surrounding areas. The East Texas Crisis Center’s main focus is legal advocacy for victims of family violence and sexual assault. The Payne Springs Fire Rescue is a volunteer fire department which offers fire protection, rescue, and First Responder Services.

Pinnacle Women were able to contribute to these groups through the community support with their annual garage sale that is held in the fall at the Mabank Pavilion.
