Graveside services and interment for Joyce Warren, 78, Athens have been scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Park with Reagan “Buck” Tanner officiating.
Mrs. Warren died Monday evening in Tyler.
Joyce was born Jan. 2, 1935 in Athens to the late Reagan Herman and Roxie Krene Hall Tanner. Joyce retired from Lone Star Gas after 25 years of service. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a very unselfish person making sure everyone else’s needs were first. She loved to read and cook. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Joe Warren, Athens; daughters, Brenda Moser and husband Bill, Tyler, Carol Perkins and husband Donny, Malakoff; grandchildren, Meredith Grace and Husband Jamie, Cameron Moser and Madalynne Perkins; brother, Reagan “Buck” Tanner, Athens; sisters, Faye Dugan, Palestine, June Greene, Athens, Linda McCauley, Henderson, Ramona Birch, Athens; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
