Workers pour the concrete foundation Tuesday for a new and larger band hall at Athens High School. The new band hall, which is scheduled to be completed by the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year, will be built adjacent to the existing one. Just down the street at Athens Intermediate School, construction is under way on eight new classrooms.
