It will be volleyball with a cause Saturday afternoon at Cardinal Gym.
The Trinity Valley Community College Lady Cardinals are scheduled to take on the Hill College Lady Rebels in Cards for CASA. The game, which will benefit CASA of Trinity Valley is set to start at 2 p.m.
The designation of the game is designed to raise awareness and money for the local CASA organization.
CASA of Trinity Valley provides independent, highly-trained volunteer advocates for children in the custody of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in Henderson, Anderson and Cherokee counties. It empowers volunteers to advocate for the children’s best interests, to insure that their needs are met and to secure a permanent, safe and nurturing home as soon as possible.
Fans donating to the cause will receive a t-shirt. There will also be raffle to raise funds.
Admission to the game is free.
