The TVEC Charitable Foundation recently awarded a $4,000 grant to the East Texas Arboretum.
This goal of the arboretum is to display, research and interpret the natural environment of the plant communities of East Texas and to provide educational activities for children and adults within the arboretum and botanical area. The funds will be used to update and replace plants in the pavilion area.
The TVEC Charitable Foundation is funded entirely by TVEC members who participate in Operation Round Up.
