Trinity Valley Community College is offering a Fast-Track Phlebotomy course beginning November 14. Classes will be held on the Athens campus and will prepare students for employment with health care teams in clinics, hospitals, insurance companies, blood donor groups, etc.
Class times are Tuesday and Thursday from 1:40 to 6 p.m. and will cover safety practices, professionalism, procedures, appropriate use of supplies and equipment, recording and reporting procedures. Tuition is $750, which does not include book, supplies or lab attire.
