The Lady Dogs Varsity still remain undefeated in district.

On Tuesday the varsity defeated Hampton Prep in a 3-set match. JV and Freshman were idle.

Then the varsity defeated the Malakoff Lady Tigers on Friday in Malakoff in a hard-fought 4-set match. Way to go Ladies!

The JV was unable to pull a win. They are now 9-1 in district. The Freshman were idle.

Also the Lady Dogs are continuing to raise money for DIG Pink. There will be items (good baked items) for auction at all home Volleyball and Football Games.

Our JV and Varsity Football fell to the Quitman Panthers.

The Eustace Cross Country teams competed at home this weekend, just two miles south of the High School at Four Pines Ranch. race course offers true cross country challenges with rolling hills and a fair amount of zig zags that weave in and out of the east Texas country side.

The Varsity Girls finished 2nd out of 6 teams and 46 individuals. The team was lead by freshman Skye Burns who placed 6th and ran a 13:05, next was Shelby White who placed 8th, then Chloe Moore place 9th, Chanda Westbrook placed 11th, Breanna Ragan placed 12th, Alyssa Shaddox placed 15th, and Harley Kile placed 18th.

The Varsity Boys were meet champions out the 11 teams and 73 individuals represented there. The team was lead by junior Mark Zimmerer who ran a 16:49 and placed 3rd, next was Hunter Rose who placed 5th, then Brandon Richardson who placed 8th, Ayden Reed placed 9th, and Preston Schwartz placed 12th.

The JV girls had 3 Eustace finishers; Payton Schwartz who placed 9th, Monica Rojas who placed 10th, and Jacey Warner who placed 19th.

The JV boys placed 1st out of 5 teams and 45 individuals. The team was lead by Sophomore Cade Yates who was individual meet champ with a time of 18:19, next was Gabe Purselley and Zane Arambula who placed 2nd and 3rd, Elijah Rogers and Alec Marable placed 6th and 7th, Michael Wong placed 11th, Brandon Hall and Temple Hendrickson placed 15th and 16th, and Thomas Henderson placed 22.

The Middle school girls placed 3rd as a team, they were lead by 7th grader Sierra Castillo who placed 5th overall, next was Arian McDonald who placed 11th, Yazmine Washington placed 17th, Brooke Caldwell placed 20th, Hailey Carpenter placed 22nd, Mallory Grace placed 26th, Jessica Plunk placed 29th, and Anna Gaddis placed 36th.

The Middle school boys placed 3rd as a team, they were lead by 8th grader Cameron Carpenter who placed 8th, next was Jeremy Carson who placed 11th, Bucky Whomble placed 17th, Nicholos Westbrook placed 18th, Adrian Gonzales placed 19th, Micah Zimmerer placed 20th, Skylar Prichett placed 33rd, and Shawn Hollard placed 34th.

**Please Note – We will be hosting the District CC Meet next Monday during the day and will need help with the Concession Stand. It will start around 12:30, if you would like to help we will meet at the new High School Gym at 12:00 to load up.

· JV Football vs. Winnsboro @ Eustace – 7:30 pm.

Friday – 10/18
· Varsity, JV, & Freshman Volleyball @ Life Oak Cliff – 4:30 pm (Varsity plays first followed by JV and then Freshman)
· Varsity Football @ Winnsboro – 7:30 pm.

Monday – 10/21
· District CC Meet @ Eustace @ 4 Pines Ranch – 12:30.
