Suspect Tries to Hide Drugs in Police Car

At approximately 10:22 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Jeromey Rose arrested Amy Baker at the Seven Points City Hall for an active arrest warrant out of Henderson County.

While Sergeant Rose was transporting Baker to the Henderson County Jail, she was able to remove her hands from the hand restraints and removed multiple baggies of marijuana from her bra attempting to conceal it in the back seat of the patrol vehicle.

Upon arriving the the jail, Sergeant Rose located the plastic baggies containing marijuana in the back seat of his patrol vehicle. Baker was later booked in for Possession of Marijuana – 2 Ounces a class B misdemeanor, Tamper-Fabricate Physical Evidence a Third Degree Felony as well as the active arrest warrant for Capias Profine (Motion to Revoke – Possession of Dangerous Drug.)
