Trinity Valley Community College students once again put their finest work on display for the campus and the community to see during the 2014 Spring Photo Exhibit held earlier this month.
The exhibit was judged by local photographer Janna Smiley, who graded students based on relevancy, composition/arrangement, focus/sharpness, lighting and creativity. One student, Shelby Reddington, received a perfect score of 25 for her photo entered in the landscape category. No student has ever received a perfect score in the show, said Richard Hawkins, TVCC communications and media instructor.
“Shelby was one of my best students all semester, and it was exciting to get to tell her she had received a perfect score from the judge in the photo exhibit,” Hawkins said. “I could see from the beginning of the semester that Shelby had a great eye and she always worked hard to compose awesome photos.”
Hawkins once again had a class full of talented photography students, saying, “I always really look forward to seeing all the great work in our end of semester photo exhibit. I am very lucky to have some of the best students on campus each semester in my photography classes.”
