Dr. Ken Lemmon was honored for his 36 years of service to the community during a reception Wednesday. The gathering was held in the atrium of ETMC Athens, where laughter rang out continuously from a large gathering of doctors, nurses, staff, family and friends. In addition to his compassion and excellent quality of care, Dr. Lemmon is also well known for his easy laugh. His retirement from family practice at Lakeland Medical Associates, which he co-founded in 1978, will be effective Dec. 5. (Toni Garrard Clay)
