Pinnacle Women’s Club press release

The most heartwarming event of the year for the members of the Pinnacle Women’s Club (PWC) is the February Philanthropic Luncheon. With the Valentine’s Day theme at each table, 15 non-profit and charitable organizations received PWC donations which were made possible in part by the fall garage sale.

Philanthropy Chair Jean Alexander opened the meeting by expressing thanks to all area residents who supported the garage sale. She went on to say that we are proud to recognize and support each one of these special organizations for their achievements.

Pictured are representatives from these organizations (from left) back row, Bill Burnett-MAGS, Marcia Colbert-Henderson County Performing Arts Center, Ruth Pimm-Community Food Pantry in Tool, and Larry Spiegel-Library at Cedar Creek Lake; middle row, Emily Heglund-CASA, Sydney Busch-Friends of the Animals, Allison Partridge-Foundry House, Janet Erwin for Faith in Action Outreach, Layton Holt and Gary Williamson-Disciples Clinic of Athens; front row, Marlena Taylor-Family Peace Project, Mary Lou Faulk-Malakoff Education Foundation, Lee Ann Millender-CASA, Dana Norton-Foundry House, and Brandi Marett-Tri County Library.
