Services for William Gary Hogue, 69 of Balch Springs are scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014 in Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with Don Hamon and Don Ivey officiating.
Burial will follow in Payne Cemetery.
Surrounded by family and friends Gary passed away quietly at his home
August 8, 2014 after a courageous nine year battle with lung cancer.
He was born November 21, 1944 in Dallas to Climouth J. Hugh and Mayme Odessa Chilcoat Hogue. Gary served in the United States Army in Korea.
He retired after 31 years of service with City of Dallas as maintenance supervisor.
Survivors include his wife Marie Hogue of Balch Springs; daughter June Prior and husband Gregg; two granddaughters , sisters Joyce Richards, Joan Zimmerman; brothers Harry Hogue and wife Patti, Hugh Hogue and wife Stella, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be 3 p.m. until service time Thursday.
