Obituary: Lou Bailey

3979673Funeral services for Lou Bailey 69, Murchison have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park, Athens.

Mrs. Berry passed away Tuesday in Tyler.

Lou was born Sept. 28, 1946 in Bryan, Texas to the late Alvin Frank and Elizabeth Helen Simecek Quitta. She had been a resident of Murchison for the last five years moving there from Lindale. She was a very talented seamstress and loved to crochet. There was nothing that she couldn’t make. She loved gardening and especially loved the time she spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joseph Quitta.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Hill, Bullard, adopted son; Don Langley, Ben Wheeler, grandchildren; Tiffany Liming and husband Teague, Walters, Ok., Heather Alas and husband Xavier, Tyler, James Hill, Tyler, great grandchildren; Luke Liming, Cole Liming, Iker Alas and Anthony Alas, Sister; Marie Thacker, Chapel Hill, brother; Wes Quitta and wife Judy, Murchison.
Pallbearers will be Xavier Alas, Teague Liming, James Hill, Jimmy Hill, Nigel Vale and Wes Quitta.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
