Funeral services for Kenneth Bob Lewis, 83 of Murchison are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Murchison with Rev. Brooks Taylor and Dr. Joe Warren officiating.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Lewis passed away July 10, 2015 in Athens.
He was born April 1, 1932 in Murchison to Jimmy and Johnie Fay Lewis. Kenneth was a longtime employee of Athens Independent School District serving as a teacher at Athens High School, Principal at South Athens Elementary and tax-assessor collector.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Linden and Gerald Lewis.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years Shirley Lewis; son Bryan Lewis of Murchison; three grandchildren Serena, Kenneth and Lexie Lewis; nieces Lynne Staines, Kim Hanson and Kelly Lyons; numerous great nieces, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
