Obituary: Jack Kendall Kendrick

Kendrick, JackGraveside services for Jack Kendall Kendrick, 70, of Brownsboro, will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Edom Cemetery with Terry Nesmith officiating. Services are under the direction of the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Family of Athens.

Mr. Kendrick went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 6, 2016.

Jack Kendrick was born on February 17, 1946 in Waco, Texas, son of Jack Kendrick and Marion Mitchell Kendrick. He was a member of the First Assembly of God of Brownsboro and was a sign painter at Fort Hood Sign Shop for 35 years. Jack was married to his wife, Labeta Kendrick, for 8 ½ years. He was a great family man and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Labeta Kendrick; daughters, Tori Sorsby and husband Mitchell of Athens and Rene McDowell and husband Scott of Copperas Cove; sister Jean Thorn of Waco; brother Robert (Bobby) Kendrick of Waco; grandchildren, Michel McAlister, Wesley Easley, Kristen Cortez, and Alyssa McDowell; five great grand girls; one great grandson due in August and one due in January.
