Dorothy Francis Harkness of Kemp passed away on October 5, 2014 at the age of 78.
Dorothy was born on August 29, 1936 in Fort Worth, Texas to John Rutledge and Lyma Glass Rutledge.
She is survived by her two daughters, Shirley & husband Allan Kirksey, Kathe and husband Arnold Chavera, grandchildren, Tiffany Neel, Misty Kirksey, Anjelica Chavera, Andres Chavera, Nancy Senato, Arnie Chavera, Alex Chavera and Michael Chavera, great grandchildren, Brylee Baxter and Marc Kirksey, numerous brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents John & Lyma Rutledge, husband, Charles Harkness, brothers, Sherman Rutledge and Don Rutledge.
Service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Huckabee/Tomlinson Funeral Home in Seven Points, TX. Interment will be held at Sparkman Hillcrest Cemetery with the Rev. Clifford Williams officiating.
Pallbearers will be Arnold Chavera, Andres Chavera, Allan Kirksey, Rick Kearney, Bobby Conn and George Cornue.
