Charles Marion Jackson, Sr. was born on November 28, 1925 in Corsicana and passed away on December 20, 2013 in Dallas.
He is survived by his wife, Leona Jackson; sons, Charles M Jackson Jr., and Randy Jackson and wife, Stacey; four, grandchildren, Brian, Brandi, Victoria, and Ashley; and sister, Jeanene Grade.
Charles worked in construction for many years and was in the Garland Emergency Corp. He served in the United States Navy where he witnessed the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.
Charles married Leona Richter in 1951. He will be remembered by his loved ones and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Restland Memorial Park.
