Bobbie McClendon Huff of Malakoff passed away on December 21, 2017 in Dallas. She was born on June 28, 1936 in Trinidad, Texas to Leonard Russell McClendon and Velma Lee King McClendon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Leon Huff Jr, who was her love and best friend.
Bobbie was strong in her faith, loved Jesus with all of her heart and was an incredible prayer warrior. She was employed for 45 years at Athens Brick Company, where she became Vice President of Operations. After retiring, Bobbie’s joy was to work on her farm and care for her cows. Above all, Bobbie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, cousin and friend.
Bobbie is survived by her daughter, Pam Belz of Dallas, son, Kameron Smiley and wife Lisa of Plano; grandchildren, Billy Belz of Dallas, Halee Belz of Dallas, Bryson Smiley of Plano and Ashton Smiley of Plano; along with two cousins that were very special to her, Betty Sanders and Shirley Dulaney.
The family would like to invite you to join them for visitation at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Autry’s Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Mankin Cemetery following. Autry’s Carroll-Lehr is in charge of arrangements.
