Man Arrested on Warrants, Drug Charges

On Friday, November 14, 2014, at approximately 11:19 p.m., Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Linus Moulton served three outstanding felony warrants for Credit Card/Debit Card Abuse and two counts of Burglary of Vehicle with two or more previous convictions on Daniel Oneil at Eddy’s Bar located on Flat Creek Road in Athens. After Deputy Moulton arrested Daniel for the outstanding warrants, Deputy Moulton located three small baggies containing methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle on Daniel’s person. Daniel was transported to the Henderson County Jail and booked in for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 >= 1G<=4G a third degree felony, Credit Card/Debit Card Abuse a State Jail Felony, two counts of Burglary of Vehicle with two or more previous convictions. In the state of Texas, Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 >= 1G<=4G is a Third Degree Felony.

If found guilty an individual shall be punished by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice not more than 10 years or less than two years and a fine not to exceed 10,000. Credit Card/Debit Card Abuse and Burglary of Vehicle with two or more Previous Convictions is a State Jail Felony. An individual found guilty of a State Jail Felony shall be punished by confinement in a state jail for any term of not more than two years or less than 180 days and a fine not exceed 10,000.
