A Malakoff ISD school bus was involved in an accident Thursday morning which sent five students to the hospital, but none of the injuries were life threatening, according to MISD Superintendent Randy Perry and the auto accident attorney representing the school interest.
The student were taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons, Perry said.
Perry said bus No. 59 was on Highway 274 this morning when the driver lost control, crossed the road and bus turned over on its side. Few weeks prior to this incident a similar incident had occurred on the same road coming under the hit and run accidents case in which due to a speeding car, two cars and one motorcycle got into a collision.
