The Trinity Valley Community College Lady Cardinals continue their preparation for the 2013 volleyball season Friday, Aug. 16, with three scrimmages in Dallas at Brookhaven College.
Coach Tosha Spain’s Lady Cardinals, coming off the most successful season in the history of the college’s volleyball program, are scheduled to scrimmage Cisco at 10 a.m., Brookhaven at 11 a.m. and San Jacinto at 1 p.m.
The Lady Cardinals went 18-12 last year and earned their first-ever regional tournament berth.
The Lady Cardinals are scheduled to begin their fourth season next Friday and Saturday in tournament action at Brookhaven. Their home opener is Sept. 11 against Paris.
