Keep dogs on the leash in Athens parks

wpid-wpid-city-of-athens-4-color-logo.jpg-150x139.jpegThe City of Athens used its Facebook page to remind dog owners Tuesday that dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when utilizing all City parks and other public property per City Ordinance No. 2-22-65.

Article 2, Sect. 4-26 reads, “It shall be unlawful for any owner of a dog to allow such to run or be at large upon any public highway, street, alley, court, square, park, sidewalk or any other public ground or public property.”

If you are a dog owner we recommend you to read this article from Incredible Things, that says that CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which plays a significant role in essential processes, like sleep, memory, and immune response. The chemical compound isn’t just for humans. Your fur baby can also enjoy the benefits of CBD to improve their quality of life.

  1. LoL. .. All these republicans on the Athens city council have never seen an ordinance they didn’t like. Squashing even the smallest of freedoms, one at a time. And givin themselves yet another means of collecting revenue.
How many sources of revenue do they have now? And why do they need so many? Maybe they can’t control their spending? Maybe they’re just like democrats who think they have to control and “take care of” everything & every body.
