Agents with the Department of Homeland Security arrested one man Thursday after an investigation in Key Ranch Estates, according to local law enforcement officials.

Key Ranch Estates is between Trinidad and Tool.

The suspect was arrested for child pornography this is not to be confused with adult pornography, the type that can be found on websites like https://www.hdsexvideo.xxx/ as adult pornography is completely legal. The suspect following his arrest was transported to Dallas, according to law enforcement sources who wished to remain anonymous because of the ongoing investigation.

The agents from Homeland Security arrived on Spade Ranch Road in Key Ranch Estates early Thursday morning. The investigation included the use of helicopters, according to sources.

Homeland Security agents were gone from the subdivision by early afternoon.

There were no further details as of Thursday afternoon.

  1. Must be more to the story for Homeland Security to be involved. My question is child pornography a threat to our country security? I would have expected the local law enforcement to have taken this matter.

Homeland Security should be looking into threats to our overall security not local law enforcement matters.

    1. I agree. Obviously Homeland Security is a lot bigger than they said it would be. Big government approved by both republican & democrat. It’s beginning to look a lot like the book 1984.

Our government created most of the reasons we might need a Homeland Security (and an FBI & CIA) And now, we have to pay for all 3 (over bloated) agencies. I think the chances of being killed by a terrorist, in this country ranks right up there with the chances of being struck by lightening. For sure, the chances of being accidentally killed by a cop are better than being killed by a terrorist. But, you don’t see them policing their own.
In 2015, there was about 1,200 American citizens killed by police.

BTW, I have no sympathy for people who look at child porn. Scum of the earth, in my view. But what a person does in the privacy in his own home, as long as it doesn’t adversely affect others, should be left alone. Allowing the government into our homes (even digitally), should not be allowed by the citizens. And I don’t say that to protect so-called criminals. But to protect the privacy of everyone. Especially the innocent people. The only thing I have to hide is my privacy.
It would seem that the republicans & democrats together don’t understand that. Which I just one reason I quit voting for them.
