Press release

The NRA Foundation has awarded the Henderson County Outdoor Sports 4-H Club a grant totaling $3,301.04 to fund targets and bow cases.

“We are very excited about the additional targets we are able to purchase,” said Coach David Owens, “and pleased that the NRA is making an investment in our community.”

“HCOS is working towards the 4-H Moto, ‘To Make the Best Better.’ Our archery club is a positive, educational program for children of any age,” said Coach David Parish.

“The primary goal is to teach proper use and shooting safety, while developing responsible and respectful leaders, with the help of the NRA grant program we can achieve this,” according to Coach Mike Cooper.
