The Athens Farmers Market it seeking a site manager. Pay is $8.50 per hour on market days, which are 6 a.m. to noon on Saturdays (six hours) and 4-8 p.m. for weekday markets (four hours). Total work week is 10 hours.
Job Description:
The Athens, TX Farmers Market is seeking a part time person as Site Manager. This position requires a maximum of 10hrs/week.
Applicant must love the Athens Community, have a positive attitude, willing to work with others, and be able to set up and take down a canopy independently. Site Manager is responsible for set up of the Market booth, sales of market goods, responsible for set up of market and organization of vendor set up each weekend as well as collecting booth fees. The Site Manager will be responsible for take down of Market booth as well as storage of canopy, materials, coolers, signage, and other items necessary for the market booth at each market event. Markets occur each Saturday, April-October as well as a Tuesday afternoons (months TBD). The Market Manager will report weekly to the Market Director and on site Market Administrators as well as being present at BOD meetings 1x/mo with predetermined dates and times.
