ATHENS: The high flying Athens Hornets moved to 8-0 on the season with a 56-14 win over Mabank to celebrate homecoming.
MABANK: Athens’ homecoming wasn’t as nice for Mabank, and the Panthers fell to 2-6 with the 56-14 loss to the Hornets.
BROWNSBORO: The Bears had a tough night against Van, falling 40-12. Brownsboro is now 2-6 on the year.
CROSS ROADS: Cross Roads came out on fire and led early, but couldn’t hold on and eventually lost to Kerens, 55-26. Cross Roads is now 2-6.
EUSTACE: The Bulldogs rolled to a 47-6 win over Grand Saline and improved their record to 4-5.
TRINIDAD: Milford drops Trinidad, 56-6. The Trojans are now 4-4.
