Eustace High School Teacher Arrested For Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor

A Eustace High School teacher has been arrested for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

On April 6, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office received information that Kennedy purchased or furnished alcohol to a minor, who was a Eustace High School student.

Through the investigation Henderson County Sheriff’s Officer Investigator Brad Gray obtained an arrested warrant from Henderson County Justice of the Peace Pct. 1 Randy Daniel. Kennedy was arrested and placed in the Henderson County Jail awaiting arraignment.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Henderson County District Attorney’s Office, Eustace Independent School District, and the Eustace Police Department.

According to jail records, Kennedy was arrested for driving while intoxicated in October 2012 and furnishing alcohol to a minor in March 2007.

  1. I see that he supposedly furnished a minor alcohol at bar? Why was the child let into a bar? It wouldn’t matter if that child was given alcohol or not, if he spoke to the student, a small town with small minded individuals would assume that he did so. As for his prior charge of providing a minor with alcohol in 2007, Mr Kennedy was still a y very young adult then, he had been out of high school 3 years? Maybe, barely 21 years old? There are very few coaches abd teachers who did not give their friends alcohol in college. As for the dwi, he had tgat charge when EISD hired him…. sure he isn’t the only one. Accusations like these ruin lives, there are far more to blame then just him, if there is any truth behind this at all. Hope you all are shutting down the bar and fission citations for all those who worked there.
