Eustace Cross Country to compete in state meet

The Eustace Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs cross country teams will compete in the state cross country meet Friday, November 12, in Round Rock.  The meet will take place at Old Settlers Park. The girls will run at 2:40, followed by the boys at 3:10.

Both teams earned berths in the state meet by performing well at Regional Championships October 29 in Grand Prairie. The girls finished first and the boys second.

The girls were led in Grand Prairie by Chanda Westbrook, who placed first overall on the girls side. The Lady Bulldogs only had 41 points at the Regional Meet. The second place team had 121.

The boys were led by Ericsen Gudjohnsen who placed 2nd overall in the meet.

The girls ran at 1:30 and the boys followed at 2:00.
