Recently, the winners for the Educator of the Year awards were announced by the East Texas Academic Rodeo. Three winners were chosen, one for each level of education. The Elementary level honor went to Trina McAllister of East Texas Christian Academy, Tyler. The Middle School honor went to Karol Terry of Chapel Hill ISD, Mt. Pleasant.
