By State Rep. Dr. Stuart Spitzer
Tuesday I swore my oath of office and took my first votes. Special thanks to all our friends and family who traveled to the Capitol to support and celebrate with us all. It was great to share the occasion with so many people who were integral in getting us here.
My staff and I are excited to finally be about the business of Texas. Currently we have three bills filed, with more pending. I look forward to tackling many issues that affect the small town and rural life of the district. Even though our work in Austin has begun, we are still in the process of getting the office operating at 100%, but you can still contact our Capitol office by calling (512) 463-0458. You can find more contact information here: http://www.house.state.tx.us/members/member-page/?district=4 and you are all welcome to stop by to talk in person. Be sure to call ahead so we’ll be here to greet you.
Finally, all business conducted on the house floor will be available for you to view here: http://www.house.state.tx.us/video-audio/
It is an honor to be serving all of you in an official capacity. I hope and pray that I conduct myself in a manner worthy of the trust that God and my constituents have placed in me.
