A preliminary autopsy report has identified the remains of a man found in Cross Roads Sunday as David McCan, a Henderson County Sheriff’s Office official said.
While it will take a few months to get the complete autopsy and receive results from DNA testing, officials made the identification and have released the body to the family.
McCan’s body was found Sunday during a search of McCan’s property by friends and family.
McCan was reported missing by family after he disappeared without any word on June 11. Both his truck and motorcycle were left behind as well.
