Members of the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce get together every August and welcome the new Mabank ISD teachers. This long-standing event is a tradition and a partnership between CCLACC and Mabank ISD.
A post on the chamber Facebook page read: “We’re pleased to welcome the new teachers and wish all employees, students and parents the very best school year ever. We also sincerely thank the more than 60 chamber members who came out to sponsor a teacher and introduce them during lunch.”
