TVCC wrecks College of DuPage, 73-14

By Michael V. Hannigan

The roll continues for the Trinity Valley Community College Cardinals.

The TVCC football team has dismantled everyone its faced this year and Saturday it was the College of DuPage Chaparrals’ turn. The Cards improved their record to 6-0 with a 73-14 beat down of the Chapparrals.

The much-anticipated Battle in the Valley was barely a skirmish even with the Cardinals committing three early turnovers. So instead of writing a long roundup of the scoring, I figured I let you watch it yourselves.

Next up for the Cardinals is Blinn. TVCC will be on the road in Brenham next Saturday to take on the Buccaneers. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
