Graduation season isn’t over just yet. Six proud individuals graduated from a first of its kind class at Workforce Solutions in Athens last Thursday.
The six students finished a full-time class which lasted four weeks and included OSHA-30 certification and hands on training that has them ready for new jobs in the manufacturing industry.

(Recently), Kevin and I got a great opportunity to go and check out 3 P’s in a Vine Vineyard in Athens, TX. Located at 955 Douglas rd, on a scenic 12 acre landscape.
All told we tasted all eight of their wines, and there was not a single one that didn’t have a distinct, enticing flavor.
I think hands down our favorite was the Tempernillo Reserve, of the reds, A bold wine with hints of berries, underlined with earthy tones, aged in French Oak with soft tannins.

The Athens Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Thursday to celebrate the grand opening of Jeremy Millar’s Allstate Insurance Office in Athens. The office is located at 514 E Corsicana St, Ste B.
Jeremy said today that he will donated $20 to a local charity for anyone who comes in for a quote before the end of the month.
