The Litter Box Resale Shop, owned by the Henderson County Humane Society in Athens, will be open again this Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds support the animal shelter in Athens. We’ve been working hard to get out all the beautiful, useful new items we have received. Prices are great and we have everything from furniture and designer clothes to paint. Located at 303 N. Help support the Athens High School band by participating in this year’s Drive 4 UR School.
If 300 drivers go to Brinson Ford on March 1 ( 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and take a test drive, the AHS band gets $6,000.
The proceeds will go to pay for buses for the Washington D.C. band trip in May.

We are looking for four more students for the next session of the Sylvan Learning Center at the Cain Center, Inc. I must have 10 students to begin the next class and so far I just have 6. If there are any former students or parents that would like to sing Sylvan’s praises I would love for you to share.
