Second Season Opens at HCPAC This Weekend
The first of four professional shows opens Oct. 3-5. “Sweater Curse: A Yarn About Love” is a delightful comedy starring Elaine Liner. Bring your knitting or crocheting with you and stitch along with Elaine as she entertains you with her yarns of love.
The performance opens The Second Season, a series of one-woman plays, at the Henderson County Performing Arts Center.

Poetry Events at TCOI in Athens

Two major poetry events are coming to town in the next two weeks at The Color of Ideas Community Arts Center — located just off the Square at 207 E. Tyler St. The first event is an Art & Soul Poetry Night, which is scheduled for this Friday, Oct. 3, at 7 p.m. Charlotte Renk, Ph.D. and Victoria Phillips will be the presenting poets.
