— Athens Health Care and Rehab will be holding a garage sale Oct. 24-25 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. All proceeds will be going toward the activity department. Located at 305 S Palestine St, Athens.
— Coming up this Friday, Oct. 25, is the Secret Closet Sale at Athens First United Methodist Church, 225 Lovers Lane. This is a clothing and accessories, household and decor items and more. Profits going to help to redecorate one of our children’s Sunday School rooms. The event will be held Friday, Oct. 25, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
