Scenes from the Henderson County Black History Committee Gospel Showcase:
1. Rev. Joey Baggett, (right) President of the HCBHC presents Rev. Vincent Bailley, Jr.(left) with certificate of appreciation and Black History banner during its Annual Gospel Showcase on Sunday, February 8th.
2. Sis. Arletha Davis read a moving poem during the Gospel Showcase. Ms. Davis is a member of First Baptist Church on Walker St. in Malakoff.
3. Members from the Church of Living God (Malakoff) and Darty’s Temple Church of God in Christ combined to sing praises unto the Lord at the Gospel Showcase as the ministers listened carefully. Also in support of the “Go Red For Women” campaign by the American Heart Association, they wore red.
