Are you interested in becoming a Community Sponsor for the Athens Farmers Market?
By donating as a community sponsor, you help support the market with equipment, increasing awareness of the market through merchandising and advertising, as well as helping to provide vital staff support as the market continues to grow. Community sponsorship allows the market leaders to bring the Farmers Market to the community twice a week: Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesdays from 4-8 p.m. The main season runs from April-November, which is a two-month extension from 2014.
Those who decide to become a community sponsor will be listed on the Farmers Market website with a link to your website, and will be acknowledged on the Farmers Market Facebook page each week during the market hours. Community sponsors will have the name of their business displayed in the market area at a minimum of 54 events this year. The community sponsor donation of $300 breaks down to $25 a month.
