Athens ISD will hold registration for pre-K and kindergarten students on Tuesday, April 7, from 4 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the District Support Center on 104 Hawn Street. Park at the back of the building off of College Street to enter the “Academic Achievement Center Adult Learning” room. Only kindergarten students who are new to AISD need to register; students who currently attend pre-K in the district do not need to do so.
A parent or guardian will need to provide the following documents in order to register for the 2015/2016 school year:
- Birth certificate (official document with seal)
- Social Security card
- Up-to-date shot records
- Photo ID of parent/guardian registering the child (such as a driver’s license)
- Proof of residence (such as a monthly utility bill)
- Parents/guardians of incoming pre-K students will need to supply proof of income (such as most recent tax return, W2, Employer Verification Form, TANF or SSI)
Athens ISD empezará a matricular a estudiantes de pre-K y kindergarten el martes 7 de abril, de 4 p.m.-6: 30 p.m. en el Centro de Apoyo del Distrito en el 104 Hawn Street. Estaciónese atrás del edificio de la calle College y entre al cuarto llamado “Academic Achievement Center Adult Learning” Solamente los estudiantes de Kínder que son nuevos a AISD necesitan registrarse; los estudiantes que actualmente asisten a pre-K en el distrito no tienen que hacerlo.
Los padres o tutores deberán presentar los siguientes documentos con el fin de inscribirse para el ciclo escolar 2015/2016:
- Acta de nacimiento (documento oficial con el sello)
- Tarjeta del Seguridad Social
- El más reciente registros de vacunación
- Identificación con foto del padre/tutor que inscribe al niño (como licencia de conducir)
- Prueba de residencia (como una factura mensual)
- Los padres/tutores de los estudiantes de pre-K entrantes tendrán que proveer prueba de ingresos (como última declaración de impuestos, W2, Formulario de Verificación del Empleador, TANF o SSI)
