Athens High School Speech and Debate Coach Nicole Cornish was awarded her first “Diamond Award” from the National Forensic League during the National Speech & Debate Tournament being held this week in Salt Lake City, Utah. All coaches earn 10 percent of the points recorded for their students. To qualify for this significant achievement, a coach must earn at least 1,500 points and have coached for at least five years.
