Athens Christian Preparatory students Jake Foster and Zay Ridgle scored high in the State Regional German competition held in Dallas. Jake Foster, a sophomore, placed first in sight reading while Zay Ridgle, a freshman, placed second in Grammar, and third in sight reading. “I am very proud of what these two students have done especially since it is their first competition.” said Brian West the German instructor at ACPA. ACPA placed 12th overall with 21 metroplex schools competing. They will now compete in the State competition held later this month at the University of Texas at Austin.
