TVCC Adult Education Orientations
The Trinity Valley Community College Adult Education Department is hosting new student orientations for ESL, GED and Transitional Prep Spring 2015 classes during the weeks of Nov. 3-6; Nov. 10-13; and Nov. 17-20. Sessions are from 9 a.m. to noon or from 6-9 p.m. in Athens only. New students must attend a 12-hour orientation to be eligible for classes in Athens, Palestine and Wills Point. For more information, contact the Adult Education office at 903-675-6398. The Adult Education office is located at 412 Park Street in Athens.
Weinstein Law ‘Bra Line’ Collects 81 Bras for Breast Cancer Awareness
Randi McCullough and Evey Hernandez of Weinstein Law sort through 81 bras which were left on the “Bra Line” at the office to raise money and awareness to fight breast cancer.
Weinstein Law says thank you to everyone who participated. Jeff Weinstein will be donated $500 to the Texas-based National Breast Cancer Foundation because of the fundraiser.
The bras will be donated to the Eastern Hills Church of Christ Clothing Pantry (Joy Works).
