Athens Teacher Cooks at Texas State Fair
Athens High School culinary arts teacher Jennifer Gorell was invited to participate for the third year in the celebrity chef demonstrations at the Texas State Fair in Dallas. Cedar Creek Lake Fall Business Expo On Tap

Applications are now being accepted for the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s new Cedar Creek Lake Fall Business Expo, slated for Oct. 14 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Mabank Pavilion. Open to non-members, as well as members, the Business Expo is an exciting new event for CCLACC
This free to the public event is the perfect time for the business community to start holiday promotions.
There are 10′ x 10′ booth spaces available, as well as larger spaces outside the pavilion roof. Cost for non-members of CCLACC is $250, with the outside spaces for boats, cars and RV’s negotiated. Electricity is available (limited number of spaces) for an additional $75 for non-members. Non-members wishing to join the chamber may apply up to $185 of their vendor fee to one year membership. The fee for members is $150, plus $50 for electricity. All booth fees include a table, two chairs, small sign and professional draping, all provided by Red Hat Rentals. Vendors may hang their own banners and are responsible for their own decorations, hand-outs and door prize registrations. Vendors, including restaurants, may sell their goods at the event.
