Jeff and Christi Weinstein, in partnership with Trinity Valley Community College, recently announced the winners of the 2015 Weinstein Law Scholarships. The one-year scholarships are awarded annually to ten Henderson County high school students.
The scholarships provide tuition and fees for 30 credit hours and are possible through the donation by the Weinsteins and a full match by the college.
“One thing we love about Henderson County is being a part of everything that goes on here. We can’t think of anything more special than providing the gift of education,” said Weinstein.
TVCC Vice President of Institutional Advancement Mary Nicholson said the scholarships are presented to students who have shown a strong dedication to community service.
“We are extremely grateful for the partnership between Weinstein Law and TVCC through matching scholarship funds,” Nicholson said. “The Weinsteins show their commitment to Henderson County and their dedication to area youth through this effort.”
This year’s scholarships were awarded to the following students: Athens Christian Prep – Keaton Wieser; Athens High School –Eloisa Peredia; Brownsboro – Mayce Grubbs; Cross Roads – Bailey Bass; Eustace – Ashley Goodson; LaPoynor –Vincent Tobin; Mabank – Mason Fry; Malakoff –Olivia Stanton; Trinidad – Matthew Snider; and Livestock Show – Sierra Perez.
