At approximately 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Jeromey Rose was at the intersection of E. Larkin and State Highway 19 North in Athens, near the Lake Athens area of Henderson County. While at the intersection, Rose observed a red Nissan four door car traveling north bound on Highway 19 North. Rose conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Jason Jones. Rose then conducted a search of the vehicle and located methamphetamines as well as glass pipes used for inhaling methamphetamines.
Jones was placed into custody and later booked into the Henderson County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1 >1 Gram
On Sunday, July 19, at approximately 2 a.m., Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Sergeant M. Jistel, Deputy Keon Mack and Deputy Bobby Gunnels were in the parking lot of the Pizza Pro Game Room located FM 315 in Chandler. The deputies observed two male subjects exit the game room and begin walking towards FM 315. When the deputies made contact with the two male subjects, one of the male subjects was found to be in possession of two small plastic baggies containing a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamines. Joseph Taylor a white male from the Brownsboro area was arrested and booked into the Henderson County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, more than 1 gram, but less than 4 grams. You do realize that the searches described in each of these incidents , as with many others you have posted, are illegal on their face and the cases will probably be thrown out for that reason?
