A Flash Flood Watch is in effect in Henderson County until noon today because of “periods of heavy rainfall over saturated soils.”
The National Weather Service is calling for rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches.
This morning, Pct. 2 Commissioner Wade McKinney said that no major issues were reported around the county as a result of yesterday’s rain.
“Hopefully the rain will move out soon in time to the kids to trick or treat,” he said.
