Two arrested for theft of pump trailer

Police BeatOn Sunday, April 10, at approximately 9:08 a.m., the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a dark blue Ford truck hooked up to a pump trailer on the side of Hwy 175 East in Larue, Texas. The witness followed the blue truck to Highway 315 south. Deputy John Daniels responded to the call and worked with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office deputies, who was able to intercept the truck once the vehicle turned on FM 837 and ACR 485.

Deputy John Daniels was able to identify the two males as Chris North of Fairfield, Texas and Dustin Webb of Buffalo, Texas. Daniels contacted the construction company and determined the pump trailer was stolen. The pump trailer was valued at $32,000.

Daniels transported Chris North and Dustin Webb to the Henderson County Detention Center, where they was charged with Theft of Property $30K-$150K. A Third Degree Felony is punishable by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for any term of not more than 10 years or less than 2 years and a fine not to exceed $10,000 if found guilty.
